Quantum Student Organization (QSO

The Quantum Student Organization (QSO) is excited to host Dr. Kathrin Spendier from Quantinuum for a series of talks. The events will take place on Tuesday, April 2nd at 5:00 pm in KRAN 140, and Wednesday, April 3rd at 10:30 am in WALC 2007.

Quantinuum is a leading full-stack Quantum Computing company, emerged from the merger between Honeywell and Cambridge Quantum in Cambridge. It specializes in developing quantum computing technologies and software to address complex computational problems across various industries.

On Tuesday, Dr. Spendier will introduce Quantum Computing and its real-world applications. On Wednesday, she will explore the translation of quantum concepts into practical applications, with a focus on using TKET, a sophisticated software development kit designed for gate-based quantum computers.

Enclosed are the flyer and RSVP form for the event. We would appreciate it if you could share this information among the Materials Engineering student body. Quantum is soon going to have applications in every field and this event could be a great kick starter for people to get interested and learn more about Quantum Technology. This event is open for everyone to attend. Space is limited, so please fill the RSVP form.
