WAAIME Scholarships

Application Period: Januray 1st – 25th

Last year, WAAIME—a division of SME—awarded $365,000 in scholarships to 197 students across 20 universities worldwide.

Scholarship details:

• Open to second-semester freshmen through master’s-level students in earth science disciplines.
• Applications accepted at www.waaime.org from January 1 to January 25.
• References must be received by January 30.
• Students must be enrolled full-time during the academic year August 2026 – May 2027.
• Awards will be distributed August 2026.
