| Greetings from the University of Notre Dame!We are now accepting applications for our Summer 2026 International Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (iSURE) Program, an opportunity that may be of interest to your international undergraduate students. The iSURE program is our signature summer research experience that pairs exceptional international students with Notre Dame faculty to gain hands-on scientific research skills. This year, we are pleased to offer 53 different projects across seven academic units on campus. Below is more information about the program, and we would be grateful if you could share it with any interested students or those you think would be a good fit for this research experience. Eligibility:– International student pursuing an undergraduate degree- 18 years old or older- GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale- Exceptional motivation and a strong interest in scientific research; interest in further academic study in the field a plus Session for International Students at U.S. UniversitiesMay 31st – July 25th, 2026 Application Deadline:Monday, February 23rd, 2026, at 11:59 PM US Eastern Time Program Fee:– $5,950- The fee covers the costs of the participants’ stay, including housing, meal stipend, student health insurance and student clinic access, and extracurricular activities both on and off campus. Virtual Information Sessions:We will host two live information sessions via Zoom in early 2026. These sessions introduce the program and address any questions applicants might have. The dates for the sessions are: – Friday, January 16th, 2026, at 8:00 AM, US Eastern Time – Friday, February 13th, 2026, at 8:00 PM, US Eastern Time Interested students can click here to sign up and receive the Zoom links.
