AAE 535 – Spring 2025 – Propulsion Design/Build/Test

Intensive one-semester course based on propulsion heritage at Purdue & Test and fabrication capabilities available to Purdue students
Complete design process (PDR, CDR, TRR)
Typical project involves all AAE disciplines (in 2015, involved ECE seniors, for Indiana Bicentennial Torch project)
Hands-on experience: Hardware to LabView®
Nearly every Spring semester since 2002
Industry, non-profit, & Purdue sponsored projects
Budget/project: $5,000 to $17,000 (I’m working on that for 2025 – hoping to raise at least $20k)
Typically about 20 students (Seniors and Grads)
